Sandy Estabrook's Abaco Guide aka AbacoEscape.com has departed the WWW. 


It's author and webmaster is now 84 and has decided to lay to rest AbacoEscape.com as of Jan 2026. It's been fun and my baby since 2001 (under Motuiti.com) and under AbacoEscape.com since 2006. It was no.1 in a Google search using ‘Abaco Guide’ enabling me to make a few bucks selling ads.  


I’ve been visiting Abaco Regularly from 1973 when still British, up until Super Storm Sandy. Our early days were fly-overs via Mackey Airlines. After moving to Florida we made the trip by boat (six times from Florida’s west coast) seeing Abaco the way it should be seen, while at the same time updating this web page.


The full website has been turned over to 1/2 Abaconian Amanda Diedrick who plans to incorporate parts into her webside AbacoSun.com. Oh, she and her husbond Tom live in a little house near New Plymouth's ferry dock.
