Wires Wires Everywhere!
From Sandy Estabrook’s Guide to the Abacos

It seems to me old wires never disappear even as new ones are added.
And somehow I never notice them when taking pictures. They only show up upon my return.

It became our policy during the summer of 2006, to eliminate all wires in all click to enlarge pictures on my main Abaco page. One can now truly appreciate the settlements of the out islands as they once were.

Below are some before and after cleanup shots.
(I left the telephone poles and the wires shadow.)
